iPhone 3GS (New bootrom) 05.15.04 baseband

I currently have the phone listed in the title. I was hoping to get an untethered jailbreak soon. But since we have to wait til the 10th of February, I was wondering if the latest redsn0w beta version would work fine. I know it'd be tethered and all. Just wanted some input.
Also, would my baseband work with the jailbreak they release for 4.3?

Yes, redsnow 0.9.6rc8 should work fine to jailbreak tethered for you until the untethered comes out.
