Iphone 3gs Help
Hi, I have a iphone 3gs 16gb currently jailbreaked on 3.1.2 for ages now since the 3.1.2 update was avlible and I believe it is time to upgrade but I don't know what version I should upgrade to? or if it would get verified by apple? (becase you can hold shift and and select your desgnated versionto upgrade to) i need to know exactly what I would need to upgrade it and if I should?, the main reason for this i keep getting the NO Service error and i believe its down to the 3.1.2 firmware? also if unlocking is option is avliable then id like to do that.
Thanks in advance;

Before you do anything, download tiny umbrella, plug your iphone in and click save shsh . Let me know what shsh you have. Do you know what bootrom you have and do you need an unlock.

Aren't you glad that you came here, before you even start restoring, you are already having problems with tiny umbrella

The simplest way is open up Cydia, on the front page in GREEN LETTERS, what do you see about shsh
The only problem here is if you cannot get tiny umbrella to work, then you cannot restore back to lower firmware using Tss Server and you will be stuck at your newly restored firmware.Last edited by iYeow; 01-11-2011 at 02:07 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
