Jailbreak 4.2.1 iPhone 4

So I tried using redsn0w latest version and I got cydia on my phone but wouldn't open. Also safari would crash. Is there a jailbreak for me? Or am I screwed...

you have to boot tethered..

I guess I'm still new at this but can you explain it to me in the simplest terms possible? Ive already put it on my iPhone. I just can't make cydia open.

Basically you have to jailbreak again but where all the options are just tell redsn0w to "boot tethered right now" and go through the jailbreak process again. This is what should fix your cydia. You will have to do this every time you have to reboot your device
