Thinking about jailbreaking my new Iphone 4 but does this REALLY mean I can't re-boot??
Hey guys, I finally got my hands on my new Iphone 4, I was a previous 3g user, managed to jailbreak that so I'm familiar with the process and I love it.
Plan was to jailbreak the Iphone 4 too but I'm a bit worried about the teathered issue, so as soon as I jailbreak it, if I turn it off, I can only turn it on again if I plug it into a computer with RedSnow right?
Is there no way around this? Do people find they cope? He he.
You got it, every time you turn it off you need to run redsnow and choose the boot tethered option. It isnt as bad as it sounds. Once you have all your tweaks and stuff from cydia you very rarely have to reboot.
Looks like I'll go a head and get a re-furb phone. My sleep/power button has quit. I have a few tweaks on my phone so the ONLY annoying thing is the ability to reboot when my phone freezes. I've been holding off in hope for a untethered JB
