Upgrade Iphone 3 GS 3.1.3 to any iOS

Hello everybody!.

I would like to ask about the upgrade my iphone to another iOS. Rightnow you can only restore the iphone with the iOS 4.2.1 with iTunes. My problem is, i have a little problems with my iphone and i would like update it. I have an iphone 3GS new bootrom with 3.1.3, jailbroken and unloked. So, i would like any answers about the possibility of upgrade the iphone to 4.0.1 or another iOS but i need can unlock the baseband. So... any ideas bout it?.

The best one for you to go is 4.1 will be untethered for the new bootrom
you can use sn0wbreeze 2.1 for windows to make a cust fw for 4.1 to preserve your BB

If i want to upgrade my iphone to 4.1 (for example), Can i do it?. i have saved the SHSH for all of this iOS 4. Could i upgrade it?. What kind of problems could i have?.
