Error Message?

Got an iphone 4 that has never been jailbroken.
it was running on 4.1
so i downloaded 4.1 firmware from felixbruns
i jailbroke it using pwnage
after buliding the new firmware and restoring it with new file...
it extracted it but once it extracted it this message came up
Device isn't eligible for this request build
and it wouldnt work.

soon after this i realized there was an upgrade (4.2.1) so i got that.
after searching for a jailbreak for 4.2.1, i couldnt find one. now i am trying to downgrade to 4.1 again because it was much easier to jailbreak with that, but again, that error message is coming up.
Device isn't eligible for this request build.

i would really like to jailbreak my iphone 4 but i cant!
how do i make this message go away?

When you were at 4.1, you could have just used Limera1n to jailbreak. Now that you are at 4.2.1, this will be the lowest firmware that you can have, 4.1 is history to you on this iphone 4.
