iPhone 4 upgrading iOS4.2.1 with old baseband

Can somebody please tell me if it is possible to upgrading iPhone 4 to iOS4.2.1 with old baseband(1.59.00). I used this method Update iPhone 4 to iOS 4.2.1 While Preserving Old 01.59.00 Baseband for Unlock [Guide] | Redmond Pie
but I am not able to get my phone out of DFU mode with Tinyumbrella. Looks like this guide was a fake or I am missing some point here.

Make sure on Tiny Umbrella that you select it from the recovery device section on the sidebar to exit it out of recovery or you could use RecBoot to kick it out as well.

I used both. It doesn't help. It is stuck in recovery screen (apple+usb)
