? menu color ?

hey all, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

pretty new to this, but learning fast. I have my iPhone 4 on 4.2.1 pretty much the way I want it, but I really want to change the color of the system menus, ie the contacts background, voicemail, SMS conversations page, and so on. searched around and haven't seen anything. I have learned how to ssh into my phone if that'll help me any. I just wanna know if its doable or not, and if it is maybe someone could point me in the right direction? please. and thx in advance

You have to jailbreak first and use Winterboard to customize the looks of your device.

Sorry I should have been more detailed.

Im on 4.2.1 jailbroken with redsnow and ive customized a lot of things but one thing id really like to change is the system menu white color(shown). im using "Black 3D" theme, very nice, even themes my sms background, notification bubbles and menu bars. It seems to me that not a lot of complete themes work on 4.2.1, but this one is nice. Also using iAcces with "GD7's swirl keyboard" nice blue to match my theme. ive had to ssh into my phone with iAcces and couple other things so i think it should be possible to change the menu color, just not sure what to do. Any input would be appreciated.

Just wait for more themes to be ported to 4.2.1. Now i have to ask you a question, Is iAccess 4.8 already ported to support 4.2.1 cos i am still at 4.1

thi is my first iPhone, and only started looking into jailbreaking it right after updating to 4.2.1. ( of course I wish I hadn't now but what can ya do). anyway my point is that I've been nonstop since then and tested a lot of things on 4.2.1. i have iacces china 4.x and it is working with no problems. the only thing that annoys me is hitting the globe on the keyboard, it switches back to the stock keyboard but its not usable, gotta go back to Iacces and reselect the keyboard. but correct me if I'm wrong, it's the same on older versions too. i also use bytafont, works great. I would think like bytafont or winterboard or I acess there would be a way to skin a color over the theme I'm using cuz I like this theme I just wanna add to it a little

I'd love to get more involved and answer any q"s neon has about what does and doesn't work on 4.2.1 cuz I've tested a lot

I am sure you can ssh into the iphone and change the colors. Go to the Modding of themes section and you can ask and learn from there.
