Jailbreak iPhone 4, 4.2.1

Hi, I just get my iPhone 4 ver 4.2.1, i have been reading but i am a litlle confused, may I jailbreake it ?, if so, could it be with jailbreakme.com?

redsnow 0.9.6rc8 is the only jailbreak, but it is tethered.

Smart move, only upgrade to 4.2.1 if you need an app that requires the latest version.

Anyway you know of to be alerted when the untethered jailbreak is avail? I upgraded to 4.2 on iPhone 4 to use an app for the Looxcie wearable camcorder. Would like to get my MyWi hotspot back to use my iPad wifi. BTW the Looxice camcorder is the bomb. Recorded the Orange Bowl with it! Future Heisman Trophy winner--Andrew Luck!!
