What's allowed here and what's not
I am a new user and really confused. This forum is full of great information some groups discuss jailbreaking and some other topics.
Recently I posted a note in another group simply requesting information about syncing issues in iTunes to which I received a "not allowed" message here. This very group sits beneath the J*******breaking and H*****ivation group which seems to exist for the very purposed of answering questions regarding these two subjects which in fact are not allowed to be mentioned in other groups on the forum? It sort of seems like a double standard. Are discussion related to the J and H words allowed or not?
I just want to know what can be discussed and what is not allowed but at this point I am really confused.
Much thanks!!

There is nothing wrong with jailbreaking or hactivation. Both are perfectly legal. You referenced cracked apps in your previous post which is not allowed on mmi.

I got it...seems like the two are inseparable are they not?
If you read my first post regarding how to sync the new phone with the aps that are on it using iTunes I would be quite appreciative!
Much thanks..

I wouldnt consider the two inseperable at all. There are hundreds of apps and tweaks in cydia that are perfectly legal and fine to talk about on mmi. With those things we would all be glad to help

I am jailbroken and have never had any warez on my iphone.

Be cautioned: Warez and cracked app repo's do not integrate nicely with Cydia and often lead to serious stability problems.
