Advice needed

Hey All,

I am hoping you can give me some advice on upgrading my iPhone 3G from 3.1.3. There are a few apps that won't work if I don't upgrade. I have been afraid to upgrade though because I have my phone exactly how I want it.

My question is, what is the most seemless way to upgrade? I am afraid of losing apps, or other tweaks and hacks. I originally jailbroke with snowbreeze.

3.1.3 is the best firmware to stay on for the 3g if you do upgrade get a custom ipsw and upgrade to 4.2.1 it runs the smoothest

Maybe I'll stick with 3.1.3 for a bit. It does run really smoothly
