    Default 4.1 stock? Whaaaa?

    WOAH!

So, my iPhone 4 decided yesterday not only that it didn't have the capability to push sound out the earpiece, but that I didn't have a SIM card. Sick of taking crap from my phone, I just had it replaced.

I'm here trying to backup all my ish, and I get the 'iTunes cannot backup, the software on your phone is too old' message. After crapping my pants at the thought I can't back up, I checked my phone....

    4.1!!!

So, before I go any further, at the risk of screwing something up if I really have struck gold... Can I save SHSH blobs even though the phone isn't yet associated with a computer? Please tell me I can! Cause I'd love to make it ra1n today, but I don't want to attempt anything without knowing.

    Thanks, y'all.

Wait a minute... even if I do back up SHSH, I'll never be able to back all my ish up... Hmmm...

No, you wont be able to save the 4.1 SHSH on the replacement if it wasnt saved before when 4.1 was still being signed.

Bahh... I didn't think about the fact that it doesn't get signed anymore.

Well, I think I'm gonna jailbreak it anyway, and just reinstall all my old apps manually. I'll just lose all my app data. Which sucks. But hey, I've never jailbroken, and I need to at least walk through the doors to see what it's like on the inside.
