Unable to jailbreak

I recently did a restore to 4.1 from 4.1. I encountered a problem using limera1n and greenpois0n. They both won't work. I have an touch 3G, vista home premium, and I need help. Thank you.

Try redsnow 0.9.6rc8 if those other ones are giving you issues.

If the others didnt work at all then you can try redsnow without restoring first.

Yes it will work on iTouch 3G. No, I dont think you can get verbose mode.

I did some research an redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 is for 4.2.1 touch 2g and iPhone 3G. I have an itouch 3G.

That redsnow will work on all devices on 4.1 (except MC model iTouch 2G). Trust me, it jailbreaks iTouch 3G just fine on 4.1.

What firmware do u have? It's under settings general about. Its the number like 4.1 or 4.2.1

Not on a iTouch 3G but I have done it on a iPhone 4, iPad, and iTouch 4G.

It was redsnow 0.9.6b6 at the time I used it but yes redsnow 0.9.6rc8 will work too, it is just a newer version.
