Unable to jailbreak

Right sorry, you shouldnt need that on 4.1.
0.9.6b2 is a pretty old version not sure what it supported then, would have to look it up.
I thought you were up and running on 4.1 already after jailbreaking with redsnow, what happened?

What happened was that I tried ur recommendation of redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 and when I tried to boot it down then up, it or stuck on the apple logo. There was a respring loader wheel. I restored 3 tines total. Then I got greenpois0n working. I tried to boot it but it had the same thing. I then tried to run Greenpois0n to boot tethered. It worked. If you or I ever encounter this problem, just run the jailbreak used to fix the problem, even if the jailbreak is "untethered"

Very odd occurence what you went through. You have 4.1 SHSH right?

Yes but I'm fine now. I looked on greenpois0n's code running on the idevice screen, the first time I jailbroke with it it said tethered on a certain line, but the second time it said untethered on that same line.
