Iphone 2G Upgrade FW Help !!

Hi, I have been out of iphone scene for awhile. Currently using Iphone 2G with 3.0 FW T-mobile. Now I want to upgrade to the latest and most stable FW. Here are few of my questions

1. Which FW should I use ? 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 and what are the differences ?
2. Which program should I use to jailbreak & unlock ? redsnow ?
3. Can someone give me the correct steps to unlock and jailbreak for iphone 2G so my tmobile will still work ? maybe link to correct tutorial for 2G thx
4. Where can I find the Jailbreak programs and FW I need for iphone 2G ?

Siince most of ppl are moving on to 3GS & Iphone 4....Can some led me to the right directions for 2G. THanks in advance !

Hit restore to go all the way to 3.1.3 and follow the above guide

3.1.3 or 3.1.2 are fine. use redsnow 0.9.4. You can find a guide at the top of the page under guides.
