Is there a method to jailbreak with Ipod Touch 2g MC?

It's been upgraded to 4.2.1 already. I tried looking at various sites. Some say redsn0w worked with the model, but the program itself says otherwise. Is there any way to jailbreak this iTouch? Any help is appreciated. I didn't learn of SHSH blobs until earlier today so I don't have those files either.

No way on 4.2.1 yet. You would need 4.1 and use greenpoison.

If there was a way to do a tether jailbreak I would be extremely happy, it doesn't need to be an untethered. It's probably not possible to downgrade to 4.1 since I don't have the blobs unless there is another method.

There isnt even a tethered jailbreak out for it yet.

Ya you would need SHSH for 4.1 to downgrade.

Darn, thanks for the replies though. Do you know if redsn0w is planning to be compatible with the MC models eventually?

I am sure it will be at some point. There may be an update of greenposion before that though.
