[HOW TO] downgrade without shsh using sn0wbreeze

this has been tested on ipod touch 2g mb. WARNING:iphone 3gs new bootroom and ipod touch 2g mc do not attempt this it will put you in a DFU mode loop. also ipod touch 4 and 3g use at your own risk. I also dont recommend downgrading to ios 4 because it will be tethered unless you absolutely need or want ios 4. Download sn0wbreeze (links will be at bottom). You also need the latest ireb and the ipsw for the firmware you want to downgrade to. Open sn0wbreeze while your ipod/iphone is plugged in and choose expert, add cydia and if you need an unlock add that to make your custom ipsw and it will put it on your desktop. Next put your iphone/ipod touch into DFU mode by holding power+home for 10 seconds then release power and keep holding home for 20 seconds there you should be in DFU (black screen no connect to itunes logo). Now open ireb and select your device it will pwn your DFU mode to accept custom firmwares. Now go to itunes and hold shift while clicking restore then find your custom ipsw and open it. It will restore. You will see the sn0wbreeze icon then apple logo after it boots you will be on whatever firmware you downgraded to (if it goes right into recovery after boot use ireb to fix it).
