iphone 4 ios 4.1 jailbreak - device issues?

Hello MMi community. I used green pois0n to jailbreak iOS 4.1. Everything seemed to work properly in the past two days but now I'm having random issue such as certain apps don't work. I tried to facetime but that wouldn't work. tried to sync facebook friends with contacts but the sync button didn't work. I tried to restore the phone but itunes prompts me to upgrade to 4.2.1.

anyone have issues like this and know of a fix?

Yeah, you can read my posts to better yourself. I don't consider myself an expert, but with some knowledge of jailbreaking.

Well i stopped reading i guess and was just trying to fix his face time and app problem i didnt see he tried to restore until after i posted.
But trust me i look at you x98 and annie all the time to gather knowledge on jailbreaking.
I am more of a hardware and theming guy but i try to help out and learn in the jailbreaking section as much as i possibly can..

Yes in cydia I see 4.1 4.2.1 and 42b3. I was going to restore to factory settings but didn't since it propmted me to upgrade to 4.2.1.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

And I'm not sure if the phone is unlocked or not. I'm assuming no I I used green pois0n.
