    Default Cydia licenses

When the iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak arrives, I want to upgrade and jailbreak. But I spent at least $20 on cydia stuff. Do the purchases transfer or not. If the do, then how?

Yes they transfer to your new fw. You can just go back and download them again after you sign into cydia .

All of your purchases are linked to an account : either google or facebook
all you would have to do is *i think* log in when you go to purchase it and it should be free from there

If you are using the same device, when you click on the paid item, it will say officially purchased.
If you are using a new device, you will click purchase and then log into your google or facebook account. Once verified, it will also say officially purchased.
Note : if you sell your device away, the new owner will also be able to enjoy your puchases as this is tied to serial number of your device and you can't unlink it at the moment.
