iPhone 4 is on 4.2.1 was restore updatedso no blobs. iPad is on tethered 4.2.1 which is fine but does anyone have unthered custome firmware 4.2.1 iPhone 4? That e nice.

Please refrain from posting questions that are answered by simply searching and reading for less than 5 minutes. The answer is NO. Even if you got a custom FW you would have to get the iphone into a pwned dfu mode. something you can't do.

No there is no untethered jailbreak for the iphone 4 on 4.2.1.
There is a beta in the works so hopefully we will see something in the weeks to come.

Don't get too upset. Untethered jailbreak for iphone 4 is available only to those who has 4.2b3 shsh blob and is in testing stage, only beta version of redsn0w 0.9.7b4. If you don't have this blob, then you can't.
