Hi everyone
I have an iPhone 3G on UK network Orange. I've had it for a year or so and so far so good.... I can use the basic bits fairly well...
Here's the issue....I'm due for an upgrade soon and I've been reading up on the net and it seems that I can just connect my new iPhone and copy over the old one's backup - I can cope with that...however, my laptop (Vista) has other ideas and has now started to come up with the following message each time I sync - "Backup was corrupt or not compatible with this iPhone - delete the backup for this iPhone and try again"
now, my basic knowledge of computers tells me that deleting a backup is not a good idea
I think that the file is being backed up each time but wont save so I thought I could just change the file where its being saved but on 2nd thoughts I dont think I should
Any assistance would be much appreciated (but please keep it simple terms!)
