Default Need Help: 3GS keeps locking up (freezing)

Jailbroke a 3GS with LimeRa1n several weeks ago and everything worked perfect. In the last few days the phone has started to locking up and freezing. It doesnt matter what screen the phone is on, it will still freeze. It happens on the home screen, lock screen, etc.
When the phone locks up, the loading symbol will appear in the center of the screen going in circles. You can do a hard reset and it will fix the problem but the freezing problem will keep happening. It has been doing it about 5-10 times per day.

Anybody have any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it?

iphone 3gs jailbroken with Limera1n and is running on 4.0.2 and in 05.13.04

It could be some conflicts apps you installed in Cydia, uninstalling the last apps or more may resolve your issue.

Its kind of strange because I havent installed any new apps or made any changes to the phone in the last week or so. Then, all of the sudden, these problems started happening within the last few days.

Even though I havent installed any apps in over a week, I went ahead and deleted the last 4 apps that were installed, did a hard reset on the phone and the problems are still occurring.

Any other ideas as to how I can fix this?

    Thanks

A restore should fix it. Before you do any restore, make sure you use tiny umbrella and save all your shsh blobs onto your computer , in case your iphone is stuck, you don't have to find out your ECID as it is already stored in TU.
