RedSnow jb sucsessfully, after installing apps phone freezes

Ok well im i have an iphone 4 and im using redsnow .b4 to jb my phone i get it jb just fine and i get cydia to work and update and such. but when i try installing apps like in-stallous, or an itunes syncing app, it asks for my device to reboot and when it does it freeze on the apple screen. ive tried using redsnow to boot in jb mode but then it freezes on the pineapple, and the kernel update freeze..... ive repeated this process 3 times now and it freeze every time.. any ideas on what im doing wrong?

If you jailbreak your iphone 4 at IOS 4.2.1 with Redsn0w 0.9.6b6, you will get a tethered jailbreak. You have to run redsn0w again and choose tether boot.

well i havnt found a dl link for .b6 if u could suply that, it would be awesome. and i do run the teather boot, but it freeze on the pineapple screen. and redsnow says kernel unpacking, or upload or somthing and it freezes.....

same thing, i jailbroke it, then installed, ********** restarted it with redsnow in teather mode. and it froze again on the pineapple screen and redsnow says uploading kernel at about 80% done.

i used b6 this time also
