Trouble with Teathered jailbreak

I have tried it multiple times with no success! I am able to install Cydia but when i go and try to install teathered only, my phone just sits there with the pineapple making the sound that iphone makes when you hook it up to the computer. I have to restore my iphone everytime.

If you're seeing the "pwnapple" pineapple, that usually means the tethered jailbreak is running (a pwned iBSS and various other IMG3 files have been successfully injected). The "connected to computer" chime also suggests you've successfully passed the "no tethered boot" checkpoint.

My iphoto does come up and itunes recognizes my iphone but thats about it. Still doing the same thing.

Very weird! I can sync with itunes, just cant get it out of that logo screen and that noise.
