Download tiny umbrella, press save SHSH with device connected and see what SHSH you get.

It isnt Saurik that is the issue it is Apple that signs them. Without 4.1 SHSH you wont be able to restore to it. At least not yet. Ways are being worked on to restore without SHSH now.

So only thing that i can do right now is to get to 4.2 and shsh are individual for each phone right? Also the reason i am restoring is that iTunes dont see the content of the phone and asks to restore for some reason but phone works just fine is there any way to fix this problem?

Have you tried seeing if it exhibits the same behavior on a different computer and iTunes?

I wouldnt think hardware issue if it happened after the jailbreak. Try looking at that thread to see if it may help.

I thought it ran the synch when I plugged in the iPhone. Should I also initiate the synch from iTunes? I'm afraid of wiping everything out.

Don't know. The jailbreak may have corrupted that file maybe.
