Have all SHSH's still can't restore

I'm on ios 4.0 with all my SHSH's saved to cydia and everytime I try to restore I get an error (21). I've edited the host file, tried running TU, and TSS server to try to update but still the same error (21). Just need a little guidance as to what step I'm missing. Right now the phone is stuck on the apple logo, even if I kick it out of recover using TU. I've also tried saving the SHSH locally and restoring that way but no luck. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Are you using the latest version of TU.I just checked google and it said error 21 means something is wrong with the USB connection. Do you happen to have a different one lying around.

Yes. I'm using the latest 4.21. I'll try an older version and report back.

Same problem error 21. I tried putting into DFU mode and still same thing. Any other suggestions?

Did you try a different USB cable or computer possibly.
