PLEASE Help. Frozen 3Gs with 4.2.1

I have a 3gs that was unlocked and jailbroken on 4.2.1, i went to reset all the data to clear all my passwords and other info and the iphone got stuck on the apple logo as it was rebooting.

I have been trying everything possible for the past 12 hours with no luck at all. I will be satisfied running 4.1 or 4.2 or 4.2.1, i just want the iphone to work...

I have tried shift restoring it to 4.1 and I always get error 3194 no matter if i add the gs.apple.come string to the hosts file or not. I definetley saved it, and also rebooted and double checked the changes to the file were in effect.

Trying to restore to 4.2.1 I always get the 1015 error and I have not been able to find a custom 4.2.1 firmware online that works. Everytime i download the firmware that is in parts they result in bad blocks or IZArc / winace asks me for VolumeID and I'm not to familiar with .rars.

Please help i just want my iphone to work
