Iphone disabled connect to itunes ?!?!

My nephew has managed to disable my iphone, I have tried to set it in recovery mode using DfU but nothing happens it goes back to the same dreaded screen.

I think this is because it's jailbroken phone, I have iphone 3GS and I still know the password for the phone.

Is there any way I can un-disable it so I can enter the password.

Please help

What do you mean by disabled, changing to another password ? If you don't know your password, you need to restore again. This is the only option.

well the screen says " iphone is disabled connect to itunes"
I have tried to restore it but nothing happens. I don't know if restore works on a jailbroken phone.

I still know my password but cannot access it to enter it,is there another way to get it working again.

I am not sure how an iphone can be disabled. Usually you would call the provider to block the IMEI.
How do you restore ?

I think he hit the reset all settings and put your iphone into recovery or frozen mode.

connect to itunes

and when i connect to itunes it says
"cannot connect since it is locked with a passcode" and i gotta enter a passcode on the iphone how ever it wont let me enter a passcode...

I have used theis method to restore it:
Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.

Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.

Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.

Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.


It worked and then when the software has finished downloading ... The same old screen still appears I get the same error " iphone is disabled connect to itunes "

What should I do .. i have spent all day trying to fix this

Keyed in too many incorrect password. Try put into DFU mode and restore again.

I have managed to restore it "yaaay" and now I get the error "

"The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.

Only compatible SIM cards from a supported Carrier may be used to activate iPhone.
Please insert the SIM card that came with your iPhone or visit supported Carrier’s store
to receive a replacement SIM card."

Where do i need to get the SIM from ?
Cos I bought this phone which was already jailbroken.

Then you have a locked iphone now. I think you just hit restore in itunes in desperation to get it working.

I don't know, and I don't know how to find out.
All I am getting on my Iphone screen is a picture of a USB lead and and and an arrow pointing to the itunes icon.

You are probably at 4.2.1, run redsn0w 0.9.6b6 and browse to stock 4.2.1 firmware. Check only installl Cydia. If you have the new bootrom, rerun redsn0w again each time you do a reboot and only choose tether boot to boot up your iphone into Home Screen.

After following ur instructions I chose tther boot to boot my phone again.
It then says pls wait for while your device is being processed.

The I see the words " waiting for reboot"
and it seems to freeze there, I have tried several times each time I get stuck there.
