Check firmware on iPhone 4

Hey guys!
Merry Christmas!

Quick question.
I recently bought an iPhone 4 and have Tmobile. I am now in the process of unlocking / jail breaking it but i ran into a little problem. I can not get into my settings app to see what firmware I am currently running on so i can not figure out what to do. Should i use redsn0w or green poison? Please help Thanks you!

Download f0recast. It can tell you what firmware you have. So can tiny umbrella.
