no WiFi
i just jailbroke my iphone 3g running on 4.0 and my wifi stopped working. i go to general and go to wifi and there are no available networks at all.
any help? because im trying to unlock the phone and i cant without wifi.
please help! thank you

Please add the repo "cydia.pushfix.info" in Cydia, install the package "Fix Wi-Fi" (free), respring, and if all goes well, you should have working Wi-Fi after the respring.
We'll start with that.

You should be able to SSH this over... Put it in your /Applications folder. http://storage.ailypso.com/apt/FixWiFi.app.zip Remove the .zip before moving over. Run from your iPhone's SpringBoard after respringing.

Do I use unscp to do this process? Sorry I'm not familiar with this process.

i got it, im using ifunbox. do i move the whole fix wifi.app or something inside it?

WinSCP or whatever SFTP program you prefer will work. iFunbox should as well.
Move the whole .app file over, run it once on the device (may need to respring after copying it over for it to appear). It should just make your phone respring, hopefully coming back with working Wi-Fi.
Yeah, put it in /Applications which is probably what they mean by "System Applications" (not the App Store apps, which is /var/mobile/Applicationsxxx).

No luck. The icon pops up but when I click it doesn't do anything.
