    Try DFU mode

    Plug iPhone into computer
    Turn off iPhone
Turn iPhone on holding both buttons
When apple logo appears or about 10 sec release the home button and keep holding the home button till it says please connect to iTunes

Any luck? There are many different solutions to this so keep talking if no

    Read above post first

Try going and download TinyUmbrella, open the program with iPhone plugged in, click push out of recovery mode

To find "tiny umbrella" simply google search it, for Mac or pc

    Any luck?

Tried TU to get kicked out of recovery, just resets and goes back to the same screen. And no it's on 4.2.1.

I was using redsn0w. Worked. Turned off phone. Then this happened.

You have a tethered jailbreak on iphone 4, dude.
All you need to do is to rerun redns0w 0.9.6b6 and check only tether boot again.

    Read the above post first

    Else

Try RecBoot, sometimes that program works better then TU

If it's under warranty walk it into apple and ask for a new one if they can't fix it

By fix it I mean get it to the home screen
