yeah there is. you know what shsh blobs are? it's sort of like a save point for each individual device which let's to downgrade to a firmware which you have 'the savepoint' for. to do this, open Cydia and at the top of the home page, in green writing it'll say "SHSH:" and whatever shsh blobs you have. if you have 4.1 blobs, download the latest version on tinyumbrella and click save my shsh history. then once this is done, go to
http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
and download the 4.1 firmware corresponding to the device you have, save it to your desktop and make sure it ends with ".ipsw" or else it may not work. open iTunes, hold shift, press restore, direct iTunes to your 4.1 ipsw and you're good
let iTunes do it's stuff and you've got a fresh 4.1 restore
let me know how it goes, good luck

I've been looking around and seeing about those shsh blogs... idk nothing bout them. But my phone won't turn on so I can't go to cydia to look it at. Can I run tinyumbrella or something to find it?
And when I download the restore firmwares when I extract them the square restore file is nowhere to be found... Just files .dmg files I can't open!Last edited by whoadie; 12-23-2010 at 06:32 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
