custom 4.2 firmware for iphone 3g?
any mods or someone trustworthy have a pwnage tool made 4.2 firmware for iphone 3g? it's on 4.1/ipad baseband so we need that custom firmware. i'm on windows so i can't.
orrr is there a good way on windows to make one?

If you have workstation installed like Vmware , you can actually build one but very slow.
You can try this (in your PM box) Dont unzip, just rename the extension.
Use redsn0w to put you into DFU mode and then restore to this file.
