iPhone 4, ipod app crashes 4.2.1

i upgraded my iphone 4 to 4.2.1 using redsn0w .9.6b5. Everything went fine. I am having an unusual problem. my ipod app crashes. Most of the time it's crashing when I'm in my car plugging in the gigaware stereo tuner into the iphone 4 so it play through the cars speakers. some history, the gigaware stereo tuner worked just fine on 4.1.

Any ideas what would cause my ipod app to crash?

When you say you updated to 4.2.1 using redsnow you really mean you used itunes first to update right?

yes, that is correct. updated through iTunes, then used redsn0w. isn't that the only way to jailbreak right now? Did i miss something?

Nope thats right only way right now. Just checking since it sounded like you said you updated using redsnow and a lot of people recently are thinking that redsnow can update firmware.
