Jailbreak iPhone 3G with power button broken?

Guys i have iPhone 3G.the power button is broken.i cannot enter into dfu mode to jailbreak via redsn0w.can some1 please help me.thank you

i cannot restore.i have some notes and other stuff i want to backup.i tried backing via itunes but it dosent work.

any1 have idea how to put this phone in DFU mode via software.thx

is there anyway of updating the baseband to 6.15.00 without a power button? the only way i can get into dfu mode is to use the hacked ipsw method, but then redsn0w doesent work

maybe with a mac and a custom firmware with that baseband built into it.
