Never before J/B 3GS on 3.1.3

I have searched all over the forums and I have now overwhelmed myself. I just got a 3GS old bootrom running 3.1.3 that has never been jail broken. It has no shsh's saved anywhere. I want to jailbreak and unlock this phone for Tmobile. I have found numerous tutorials on how to jailbreak and unlock this FW, but I need some help figuring out the correct method. I am a windows user, but can access a Mac if I need to. Please help.
Both mine and my wife's 3GS have been unlocked since fall of 2008, and I have upgraded and unlocked them both all the way up to 4.1, so i am not new to this. but I can't figure out the best way to get this new phone unlocked for my brother.

Go to Jailbreakme.com on your phone and follow the prompt, takes about 10secs.

Then you will be jailbroken

Then go to Cydia on your jailbroken phone and install Ultrasn0w for the unlock if needed.
