iphone 4 4.2.1 goes into recovery mode after power down

iphone 4 goes into recovery mode after power down.

I have never seen this before. I did a restart (power down) of my iphone and now it's stuck in recovery mode....

I run 4.2.1 and used limerain. I've been jailbrroken for 2 months now.

I did notice a few warnings saying this iphone or maybe this app is not optimized for this devise. I did a theme update with one of my themes, did a power down and now I'm stuck in recovery mode.

This wasn't a tethered jailbreak as I have shut down many times before.

You are a genius, i didn't know limera1n will work for IOS 4.2.1. Actually limera1n was created for 4.1 fw.
It should be tethered jailbreak, try running redsn0w 0.9.6b6 and choose tether boot your iphone.

I woke up this morning, pressed the power button and the phone started up.
