    What is (in you all's opinion)the best firmware for an iphone?

    Depends what iphone you have ?

    For 3G i would say 3.1.3 (every thing higher make it too slow)

    For 3GS and iPhone 4 i would say 4.1 (as 4.2.1 seems too buggy)

    That's my opinion anyway

    Oh okay. I have a 3Gs and I've just heard that Firmware 3.1.3 is really good as never crashes or something like that. But anyway thanks

    I think a 3GS can handle the newer firmwares just fine.

    I kept my 3GS on 3.1.3 as I found my favourite themes to be more fully themed on 3.1.3 & my iPhone 4 is on 4.1with no complaints

    Ya some people may not have updated themes and other stuff past 3.1.3.
