CRAP! What just happened??? iPhone 4
iPhone 4 is stuck on the connect to itunes picture!
My wife bought me a new iPhone 4 from the US. I already have the 3G, so when I plugged in the new phone, iTunes asked me to set up as new, and I said yes.
I tried to sync the phone a few times but it eventually failed.
Now iTunes wont recognize my phone, telling me I must restore and upgrade. Shift/restore didnt work. I downloaded the 4.1 and 4.2 .ispw but neither of them work for me.
I tried tiny umbrella and that doesnt work either.
What can I do???

Do you have a sim card in when your trying to activate it?

Yes I have the ATT sim card in it now.
When I get to the update/restore, 4.1 fails quickly, but 4.2 continues to install before failing.

Try different USB synch cables, and if possible try restoring it on different computers. Also make sure you are putting it in DFU mode, the screen should be black when iTunes detects it in recovery mode.
