    Default Problem after iPhone upgrade to iPad Baseband..help!

    hi i have an iphone 3.1.3 that i tried to upgrade the iPad baseband to be able to unlock...well..it crashed when i was installing the ipad baseband and i put it in DFU and tried restoring...

    after i finished restoring this message comes up

    "Restore Needed : Iphone cannt make or recive calls. Restore from iTunes"


    what do i do??

    please help its not under warranty so i cant take it to apple

    and i already restored it 5 times on different firmwares

    What tool did you use to restore ? You only use redsn0w to update ipad BB, it is not used to do a restore.

    Usually when you get that message it means your baseband is corrupt or there is a hardware issue.

    Is it because I had an iPad baseband on an iPhone 3G??

    How am I supposed to ever restore my iPhone if I can't through iTunes?

    I have no idea what custom fw Is so mind explaining? Thanks!

    What version of iOS are you on?

    You'll have to restore to a custom firmware (a non-Apple made firmware that'll have the iPad baseband in it and be jailbroken) based on what version of iOS you're on (and have SHSH blobs for). If that goes well, you'll be fixed. If not, then there's likely a hardware problem and you're S.O.L.

    It's not hardware I'm pretty sure..hmm I think I damaged the baseband .. It crashed when I was installing the iPad baseband
