    Default Suggestions

    I have a 3GS with iOS 4.1, BB 5.14.02 and old bootrom (based on production date).

    It is Jailbroken with limera1n and working fine. I do not currently need an unlock.

    Would you suggest staying put or upgrading to 4.2.1 and using redsn0w to re-jailbreak?

    Since you have the oldbootrom, your jailbreak at 4.2.1 is untethered. You can go ahead and update to 4.2.1 and jailbreak with redsn0w.
