iPhone 2g Jailbreak sn0wbreeze

hello everyone , I am trying to jailbreak my iphone using
sn0wbreeze, i have modded the ispw. file correctly and my phone is in DFU mode , i am certain it is not recovery, when i try to upload the cooked ispw to my phone i get a 1600 error. Then when i try to use iREB , nothing happens . my screen doesnt flash white or red, if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it , thanks in advance

^ my firmware is 3.1.3 btw..

There are PLENTY of MUCH MUCH MUCH easier ways to jailbreak your device
For example, you can just go to jailbreakme.com from the phone, to jailbreak.

But to better help you, were you already jailbroken? usually with the 1600, if you upload the ipsw while the phone is in normal mode, it should take it

But if i were you, i'd restore to regular 3.1.3, and use jailbreakme or redsn0w to jailbreak the device.

Ya agree with that. Forget snowbreeze for this situation. If you have a official sim to activate use jailbreakme.com. If not use redsnow 0.9.4, there are tutorials in the guides section at the top of the page.

i Dont have an official Sim so now i keep getting stuck at the screen where it wants me to activate sim , any ideas around this ?

Yup, what I said in my previous post, use redsnow 0.9.4, guide is at the top of page under guides

Lol . alright well i download their 3.1.2 firmware and it comes up as a .dmg file , i have a windows PC , shouldnt it be .ipsw ?

Well , idk , ive downloaded it from there as well and its still appearing as a .dmg file , i dont know why.

Lol alright finally got it , hooked up another comp and downloaded it on there , came out as an ipsw file , idk why it was coming out as .dmg , but anyway , got my phone unlocked,jb'd . thanks alot for the help car
