    Default Best way to Jailbreak iphone 3Gs 3.1.3

    I've tried once or twice and ran into issues. I was able to jailbreak my old 3G just fine because I avoided the softward update. This is a friend of mines phones.
    What would the best route to go be? Can I upgrade the phone to a certain point to get a better result?

    Just use jailbreakme.com

    Its really hard to help with "and ran into issues", if you don't post SPECIFICALLY what errors it gave you. (what process did it freeze at, any error codes, any dialog boxes, etc)
