Hey I'm new to this iPhone thing just got it a week ago. I was wondering what the best jail break is? And what all I have to do to jail break my phone.

You can jailbreak it with limera1n, greenposion or redsnow 0.9.6b6

for me the best one is limera1n

Why not use Redsn0w 0.9.6b6, it worked VERY smoothly for me!

If your already on 4.1, you don't have to worry about the shsh blobs, those are there for just in case you mess something up, you can restore back. (Apple only allows you to restore to the latest firmware available), but its to late to get your 4.1 shsh files, so don't even worry about that, just be sure to read, read, and read some more before you do anything. if you mess something up, you wont be able to restore to 4.1 again.

That being said, i'd recommend using limera1n, its very simple, and will take less than 2 minutes.

Simply download limera1n from limera1n.com, plug the phone into the computer, close itunes, and launch limera1n. click make it ra1n, and just follow what it says (it will say hold power for 5 seconds, hold power+home for 10 seconds, etc). Once its successfully in the jailbreak mode, it will begin jailbreaking the device. Once its restarted, your good to go.

Ok I tried limera1n I hit make it rain an nothing happened. Someone said I needed I tunes 10 to make it work. I didn't have I tunes open is that the problem maybe

Yes you will need at least iTunes 10 installed

Ok soo install it and syncmy phone then close it and run limera1n right lol I feel so dumb haha

Limera1n should be able to jailbreak your 4.1, you can also use redsn0w 0.9.6b6 to jailbreak your 4.1
