Cydia not loading
I attempted to load Themes Blue keyboard. When I attempted to install the addon message came up, http://apt.saurik.com host unreachable cached failure. after that, Cydia home page would not load. I then have to reboot to get out of the download mode for the addon. after rebooting, cydia homepage will not load and now my MyWi will not tehter with my ipad.
I want to preface that I am online with my phone via my home wifi and 3g all the itunes apps work fine.

It doesn't look good. Cydia/apt are complex packages. Forced shutdown errors are frequently terminal. I have no advice other than start over. Sorry.
One more idea. Use dpkg -r xxx.xxx.xxx from ssh or Mobile Terminal to remove the last package then reboot. You might get lucky.Last edited by Mes; 12-12-2010 at 04:54 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Cydia seems to be ******. Home page is not loading and all sites are down.
Been like this for the past 5 hours. I just finished restoring to a fresh ios 4.1 when it went down.

Sauriks repo is automatically installed when Cydia is loaded. There should never be a reason to reinstall unless you were messing around. Any other reasons are usually terminal and require a restore.

Yeah but when you open cydia for the first time is does the upgrade...I selected complete upgrade, and since the repos are down I didn't get the packages from the complete upgrade...

I doesn't help to add a repo that's already there but down. You have one choice -- wait!

I had the same problem today and yesterday, what I have done is remove disable, Music Control Pro and it loaded up straight away after that, if you have that package installed try disablling it see if that makes a difference.

Should be sorted now. Repo is up and homepage of Cydia is loading.

Maybe it'll get fixed if you uninstall that theme
