    Default iPhone 3Gs 4.1, 6.15.00 + ultrasn0w and STILL not unlocked?!

    HELP!!

I have tried OS 3.1.3,3.1.2 and 4.1 with basebands 6.15.00 and ultrasn0w and when I put a T-Mobile SIM card it says NO SERVICE. (3G is off)

I used pwnage for the jailbreaking and 6.15.00 installation.

    Help me out please

Perhaps resetting Network Settings (Settings->General->Reset) will help?

I know my ultrasn0w-ed i4 acts funkily and loses service randomly about once a week, and resetting network settings almost always remedies the issue for whatever reason. Give it a spin.

Make sure if you are using ultrasnow 1.2 that you use the newest versions of cydia and mobile substrate also.

Alright, you're up-to-date software-wise (or should be). ultrasn0w 1.2 is dependent on the most recent version of MobileSubstrate (0.9.3367-1 if you care to double-check).

If the reset Network Settings doesn't work... Under Settings->General->About, what does it say under "Network" and "Carrier"? Do you see your ICCID (SIM card number) in the About list (should start 8901 260... if on T-Mobile USA)?

It probably only appears under Expert/All view in the package list or if you're marked as a Hacker/Developer user...

If you have it installed (virtually guaranteed with ultrasn0w also installed) the Changes field would let you know when it had an upgrade automatically. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.

    Default s

upgrade to 4.1.2 through itunes then use ultrasn0w db5, click cydia and ipad baseband, hack it then, restore to 3.1.3 through itunes and again use ultrasnow 0.9.3 and 3.1.2 hack then use repo666 in cydia to unlock phone works for me and fast as normal, no battery issue that others complained about
