Jailbreak for 4.2.1 i pad

Hello all, ive been searching the internet and these forums to no avail.

are there any jailbreaks programs that can jailbreak my ipad, i thought there was for 4.2.1, it seems like there isnt. I just recently upgraded from 3.2.2

EDIT: redsn0w 0.9.6b6 will jailbreak your iPad at 4.2.1, please be aware however that your jailbreak will be tethered (requires USB intervention to boot up if turned off/battery runs dead).

Ive checked it out now, but what is this ipsw firmware, i cant find it on my computer.

Download link from Apple. IPSW files are the operating system for iOS devices like the iPad.

Its ok, i found them, had to click a button where the files were hidden under windows 7.
