Default iPhone 3G iOS 4.1 jailbreak...

    Hello,

Guys quick question, I have an iphone 3G running iOS 4.1 and I used redsn0w (point to 4.1 fw) and installed cydia. Everything worked fine but after rebooting the device it gets stuck @ apple logo...

I don't want to update to 4.2.1 because I want to stay unthetered (even though un-thetered 4.2.x jb should be coming out soon).

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!~

Are you saying you can't see anything on the screen but you can open apps. Sounds like you have Display hardware problem. Did you do anything prior to this .

OP, you have a couple of options. Downgrade to 3.1.3, jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.4 (point at 3.1.2) and then upgrade to 4.1 with PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze 2.0.2.

You could very well go to 4.2.1. It isn't tethered for iPhone 3G, it's only tethered for new boot/newer devices.
