    Default Iphone 3g 2.1 fw jailbreak?

    so i have a iphone 3g with firmware 2.1.. is there a jailbreak for 2.1 or do i upgrade to 4.2 and will that update the basband? i need it unlocked. thanks alot any help will be greatly appreciated

    Best to download 3.1.3 and shift-click restore to that. Then you can use redsnow 0.9.4 (you will need a copy of the 3.1.2 firmware to browse for) or jailbreakme.com. Once you have cydia installed you can install ultrasnow to unlock.
