4.1 to 4.2

i have an iphone 3G with iOS 4.1 jailbroken from redsn0w and unlocked with ultrasn0w for t-mobile.

now that i have BB 6.15, how do i go to iOS 4.2? i've tried and failed because redsn0w wants the current ipsw on the phone but i can't put the stock 4.2 ipsw on it because the baseband is ipad 6.15.

ok, so i installed 4.2 with custom firmware but i'm at the emergency call screen.

i can use redsn0w now to jailbreak?

i'm in the phone ( i used an at&t sim to activate.

cydia's crashing immediately so i cant unlock.
anyone know how to reinstall cydia via SSH or other way?

Try the whole process again. If it doesnt work, go back to 3.1.3 and stay there. If you have 4.1 shsh blobs , go back to stock 4.1 and jailbreak with redsn0w, it should work at 4.1.

I know you are back to square one, there is nothing much you can do as there is no proper jailbreak at 4.2.1. I think it is just a waste of time.
